She was born in Nashville, TN and was baptized into the Madison Blvd SDA Church when she was 9 years old. This was the result of studying a Bible course for juniors through the Voice of Prophecy, and the pastor gave them Bible studies. She got to attend church school at Madison Blvd Church in the 8th grade and then went onto graduate from Highland Academy. She took nursing at Southern Missionary College and finished with a BSN. She was married to Bailey Winsted after my Junior year at Southern, and they went onto Andrews Univ where he finished a MA in history. Bailey taught at Forest Lake Acad, and she taught Obsetrics for Southern's BS program. They moved to Kernersville in 1972 where they owned 2 assisted living facilities. She has 2 sons, Scott & Greg and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Dana, with 2 wonderful grandchildren, Jack & Sadie 4 & 2 yrs old. She went back to school in 1982 at Wake Forest Univ School of Medicine and graduated in 1984 as a physician assistant. She works with Physicians Eldercare where they cover many nursing homes & assisted living facilities in the Triad, Raleigh/Durham, & Charlotte. She is also the wound care consultant for their group. Being a SDA is one of her greatest joys, and she praises God every day for His wonderful grace & mercy. She longs for Heaven & can hardly wait to enjoy fellowship with the redeemed throughout eternity.
